Set speaker identification as default for file transcription across the workspace

Administrators can enable speaker identification in advance for all members, saving the effort of configuring the setting each time a file is uploaded.

Prerequisites for using this feature
Plan: Available on Business Plan and Enterprise Plan
Role: Only Owner and Admins can configure
Platform: Notta Web

 

Administrator settings

  1. Click your Profile image > Settings in the upper right corner of the screen.

  2. Open Preferences in the workspace section.
  3. Toggle on Enable speaker identification for file transcription. This will enable speaker identification by default for all users in the workspace when transcribing files.

User experience

  1. When uploading a file to start transcription, speaker identification is enabled by default.

  2. This setting is not enforced, so users can turn off speaker identification or change the number of speakers if needed.
