Set video recording as default for online meeting transcription across the workspace

Administrators can enable video recording in advance for all members, saving the effort of configuring the setting each time a meeting starts.

Prerequisites for using this feature
Plan: Available on Business Plan and Enterprise Plan
Role: Only Owner and Admins can configure
Platform: Notta Web

 

Administrator settings

  1. Click your Profile image > Settings in the upper right corner of the screen.

  2. Open Preferences in the workspace section.
  3. Toggle on Enable video recording for online meetings. This will enable video recording by default for all users in the workspace when using Notta Bot to transcribe online meetings.

User experience

  1. Video recording is enabled by default when using Notta Bot to transcribe online meetings.

  2. This setting is not enforced, so users can turn off video recording when manually pasting a meeting link to invite Notta Bot.

  3. The recording setting for Notta Bot in the account section is inherited from the workspace settings. It is enabled by default and cannot be changed by individual users.
