You can upload YouTube videos to Notta using URLs for automatic transcription. In this article, you'll learn how to initiate a transcription for a YouTube video on Notta Web.

Note:
- Maximum uploaded Video File Size: Video File cannot exceed 5 hours in length
- Words added via My Vocabulary feature are not recognized during YouTube transcription.
- Supported YouTube Videos: Public videos, Shorts
- Unsupported YouTube Videos: live streams, private, or unlisted videos
- Speaker Identification and Bilingual transcription features are not available for YouTube videos
- In accordance with YouTube's policy, downloading audio or video files is disabled
- Audio from records generated using YouTube URLs cannot be played in the Notta app.
How to upload & transcribe YouTube videos?
- Click Upload & transcribe on the dashboard.
- Paste the YouTube URL and click Next.
- Set the transcription language to match the original language of your video.
*Records uploaded via a link cannot be transcribed in bilingual mode. - Click Upload & transcribe.
- Click on Upload complete at the bottom right of the Homepage to view the uploaded files.
