Instant Record lets you start recording and transcribing with just one click. It's the fastest way to capture spontaneous conversations, quick ideas, or unexpected meetings.
Prerequisites for using this feature
Plan: Available on all plans
Role: Available to all roles
Platform: Notta Web, Notta Mobile App
- Log in to your Notta account and click Instant record.
- Audio is transcribed in real time at the same time as recording.
- Click "⏸" at the bottom center of the screen to pause or resume recording. To stop recording, click the "⏹" button.
- After the recording is finished, you can check the record in My Records on the homepage.
- Tap the "+" button.
- Tap Record an Audio, then Notta will transcribe your voice and offer the real-time transcript.
- Tap the "⏸" button to pause the recording. Tap the "⏹" button to stop recording.
- When you stop recording, the record will be saved automatically with the name "New recording" to All Files or in the folder where you started.
- To rename this record, swipe it to the left or right, or long-press it. Then tap the name and enter a new one.
FAQ
Can I perform transcription without saving the audio to my account?
No. Currently, Notta does not support transcription without recording the audio. Both the transcription text and audio are stored in your Notta account.
