Start Recording with the Notta Widget on iOS

Widgets allow you to access Notta's recording features directly from your iPhone's Home Screen or Lock Screen without having to search for the app.

Add the Notta widget to your Home Screen

1. Touch and hold an empty area on your Home Screen until the apps jiggle.
2. Tap the Add button (+) in the upper-left corner.
3. Scroll down and tap Notta from the list of apps, or type "Notta" in the Search Widgets bar.
4. Swipe left or right to view the available widget sizes.
5. Tap Add Widget, then tap Done.

Add the Notta widget to your Lock Screen

1. Touch and hold your Lock Screen until the Customize button appears at the bottom of the screen, then tap it.
2. Tap the Lock Screen on the left.
3. Tap the widget box directly below the time to bring up the Add Widgets menu.
4. Scroll down the list of apps and tap Notta.
5. Tap or drag the Notta widget to add it to the widget box on your Lock Screen.
6. Tap the Close button (X) on the widget menu, tap Done in the top-right corner, and then tap your Lock Screen to exit.

Start a recording

Whenever you need to record, simply tap the Microphone icon on your Notta Home Screen or Lock Screen widget. Notta will open and immediately prepare your recording session.

Use Notta Quick Actions

3D Touch is a function installed in iPhone 6s and later, and it is a function that allows you to perform special operations by pressing the screen strongly. This feature allows instant access to specific features within the Notta app.

1. Firmly press the Notta icon to bring up a quick action menu.
2. Select the desired function by sliding your finger while pressing it firmly and releasing your finger.
