Start Recording with the Action Button on iOS

Platform: iOS (iPhone 15 Pro or later)

If you have an iPhone with an Action Button (iPhone 15 Pro or later), you can map it to Notta to start recording instantly with a single press, even when your screen is locked.

Assign the Action Button to Notta

1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
2. Tap Action Button.
3. Swipe left or right until you see the Shortcut option.
4. Tap the Choose a Shortcut button below the image.
5. Search for Notta in the list of apps and select it.
6. Choose the Start Recording (or equivalent Notta) action.

Start a recording

To begin recording, simply press and hold the Action Button on the side of your iPhone. Notta will open and immediately start a recording to capture your audio.
