Generating a Notta share link allows you to quickly share transcripts with others.
Prerequisites for using this feature
Plan: Available on all plans
Role: Any role with Can edit or higher permissions
Platform: Notta Web, Notta Mobile App*
* Some features are unavailable or limited in the Notta mobile app.
Share transcripts using public links
Note: While a real-time recording is in progress, audio and video cannot be viewed from shared links. Only text will be visible.
- Go to the detail page of the recording you want to share, ten click Share in the upper right corner.
Click the Share publicly option to enable it.
※ To stop sharing, simply switch the toggle off again.Once enabled, the record title will display Shared on the right side.
Choose what you want to share based on your needs. Make sure to select either Transcript or AI Notes.
If you select Transcript, the option Hide video will appear.
- Enable this if you prefer not to share the video.
- If you want the video included, leave this option off.
Copying the link and other sharing options
- Click Copy Link. Paste and send it via email, chat, or any platform you prefer.
- You can also share via QR code or social media if needed.
Notta Mobile App
- Open the transcript and tap the Share & Export icon.
- Turn on the toggle.
Tap Copy, or Share to send the link to the recipient.
Share clips using public links
- Select multiple blocks by dragging your cursor to highlight them.
- Click Share.
- A share link for the selected blocks will be generated. Click Copy Link.
- Copy and send the link to recipient. They will be able to view the selected parts of the transcript and listen to the corresponding audio.
- Swipe a block to the left or right and select multiple blocks.
- Tap Share at the bottom.
- Tap Copy, or Share to send the link to the recipient.
Advanced Sharing Settings
Any updates you make to the shared content will automatically sync in real time for anyone who has the link. This ensures they always see the latest version.
Link Expiration
To set an expiration period for the shared link, click the value and choose how long it should remain active.
Password Protection
Turn on the toggle to add password protection to the shared link.
A password will be generated automatically. Share it with the recipient along with the link.
※ Passwords cannot be edited or customized.
Enable search engine indexing
If you want your transcription to appear in web search results, enable Search engine indexing. When turned on, search engines like Google may index your content.

Turn on the toggle to protect your shared link with a password. The password will be generated automatically—share it along with the link.
