The steps to change your registered email address are as follows.
Before you begin
- Environment: Email addresses cannot be changed via the mobile app. Please log in to the Web version to update your email.
- Workspace Settings: You cannot change your email address if the "Email Change Restrictions" option is enabled in your workspace settings. If you belong to multiple workspaces, this restriction must be disabled across all of them. For details on how to check this, please refer to our help article: "Restrict members from changing their email addresses".
- Email Availability: Please ensure that your new email address is not associated with any other Notta account.
Steps to update your email
- Log in to Notta Web, click your Profile Picture in the top-right corner, and select Settings.
- Click Change email.

Click Send to send the verification code.
Note: If you see a message stating that email address changes are restricted, it means this restriction is active in at least one of your current workspaces. Please disable "Email Change Restrictions" in all your workspaces and try again.

A verification code will be sent to your current email address. Find the code and paste it to Notta, then click Continue.

Enter your new email address, then click Change Email.

A verification code will be sent to your new email address. Find the code and paste it to Notta, add a password, then click Change Email.

Once the change is complete, you will be logged out automatically. Please log in to Notta using your new email address and password.
FAQs
If the email address for my previous account is no longer usable due to graduation, retirement, or other reasons, can I change the address?
If you cannot log in to your original email address and are unable to receive the verification code, you cannot directly change your email address on the Notta Web version. We recommend that you recreate your account with a new email address.
If I create a new account, what happens to the unused plan period remaining in the old account?
If you remember your Notta account and password, you can log in as usual and continue to use the service. If you would like to transfer the remaining plan period to your new account, please contact Notta Support.
If I create a new account, can I migrate data from the old account?
Currently, data migration is not provided. We recommend that you download and save the content of your old account locally yourself. If you are an Enterprise user and wish to migrate your data, please contact your sales representative.
Why did my data and purchased plan disappear after changing my email address?
After changing your email, you need to log out of your current account and log back in using your new email address. Once you log in with the new email, you will see that your data and plan are fully preserved.
