Yes, Notta Web allows team members to collaboratively edit the transcript in real time.
Behavior during simultaneous editing
When two users, for example, User A and User B, edit the same transcript in Notta Web at the same time, the following behaviors can be expected:
- Edits are saved in real time
User A and User B can see each other's changes as they happen. - When editing different parts
If User A and User B edit different sections, both sets of changes are saved without affecting each other. - When editing the same part sequentially
If User A edits a section first and User B edits the same section afterward, User B's changes will overwrite User A's. - When editing the same sentence simultaneously
If the same sentence is edited at the same time, changes from both users may mix, causing the sentence to appear jumbled (e.g., letters might appear as AABBAABBB).
Important notes
Currently, the Notta mobile app does not support editing the same data simultaneously from multiple devices. Therefore, please avoid using the Notta Web version and the mobile app to edit the same data at the same time.
