Manage auto-join from Google Calendar with the Chrome extension

With the Chrome extension, you can manage Notta Bot auto-join directly from Google Calendar. You can turn auto-join on or off while creating or editing events, without switching back to the Notta dashboard.

Prerequisites for using this feature
Plan: Available on all plans
Role: Available to all roles
Platform: Notta Web (Chrome browser with the extension installed)

  1. Install the Chrome extension and log in to Notta.
  2. Connect your Notta account with Google Calendar.
  3. Open Google Calendar in Google Chrome and create an event. Make sure the event includes an online meeting link (Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, or Webex).
  4. In the event creation page, turn the Notta toggle ON at the bottom of the window to enable auto-join.

  5. If you want to turn auto-join on or off after the event has already been created, click the pencil icon in the top right of the event to open edit mode, then toggle Notta on or off in the edit screen.

Note: If you enable auto-join within 10 minutes before the scheduled start time, Notta Bot may not be able to join the meeting.
