Invite Notta Bot from Google Meet with the Chrome extension

With the Chrome extension, you can invite Notta Bot to a Google Meet meeting with just one click. Simply press the button on the meeting screen and the bot will join without switching screens.

Prerequisites for using this feature
Plan: Available on all plans
Role: Available to all roles
Platform: Notta Web (Chrome browser with the extension installed)

  1. Install the Chrome extension and log in to Notta.
  2. Join the Google Meet meeting in Google Chrome.
  3. Open the Notta Chrome extension and select the workspace where the data will be saved, and the transcription language for transcription.
  4. Click the Start Recording button shown at the bottom left of the meeting screen to invite Notta Bot to the meeting.

  5. If host approval is required due to the meeting settings, click Admit to allow the bot to join the meeting.

  6. Open the workspace you selected in Notta and you will see a record that is currently being transcribed. From the record detail page, you can check the transcription in real time.
  7. During the meeting, you can click Key point at the bottom left of the screen to add a bookmark at that timestamp.
  8. To stop recording, click Finish at the bottom left of the screen.
