You can edit, regenerate, or delete automatically generated AI Notes. This allows you to adjust the summary content to fit your specific needs.

Plan: Available on all plans
Role: Any role with Can edit or higher permissions

Regenerate AI Notes
Regenerate with suggested prompts
Note: Each successful regeneration with a suggested prompt counts as one use. Even if you discard a regenerated summary, the usage consumed will not be returned. Also, if you select "Try again" after the first regeneration is successful and that retry is also successful, an additional use will be consumed.
- Hover your cursor over the section you want to regenerate and click the Re-generate button displayed in the upper left corner.
- You can select one of the suggested prompts to perform regeneration:
- Dive deeper: Elaborate on the content of that section in detail.
- Keep it brief: Concisely summarize the content of that section.
- Change tone: Change to a more casual or more formal tone.
- Translate: Translate the content into another language.
- For the newly regenerated result, you can perform the following operations:
- Replace selection: Overwrite the original content with the new result.
- Insert below: Add the new result below the original content.
- Try again: Attempt to regenerate again without saving the new result.
- Discard: Exit this operation without saving the new result.
Regenerate with custom prompts
Tip: Currently, the use of AI chat is not counted towards AI summary usage.
- Hover your cursor over the section you want to regenerate and select Explore Deeper with Al Chat to open the AI chat window.
- Enter your prompt (instruction) and send it. AI will generate a response based on that instruction.

After receiving a response from AI, you can perform the following operations:
- Continue asking questions
- Copy AI's answer
- Try generating a new answer
- Add the answer to AI Notes
Edit AI Notes
- Click the summary to enable editing.
- You can modify existing content, enter new content, or delete unnecessary content.
- When you select a text string, a menu bar appears, allowing you to change the text and block style.
- When you hover your cursor over a specific block, a ⋮⋮ button appears on the left side. Clicking this button opens a menu where you can change the block style.
Rearrange sections and blocks
When you hover your cursor over a specific block or section, a ⋮⋮ button appears on the left side. You can move blocks or sections by dragging this button.
Delete sections
Hover your cursor over the section you want to delete and click the Delete button displayed in the upper left corner.
Add assignees and due dates to action items
- Select a To-Do list format block to display options for adding assignees and due dates.
- Select an assignee from your Notta workspace members and set a due date.
- Members assigned to specific action items can view those tasks in the My Tasks area on the home screen.
