Restrict member folder creation

Workspace administrators can manage members' permissions to create folders, which helps maintain a consistent resource structure. This prevents members from creating unnecessary folders and simplifies management.

Prerequisites for using this feature
Plan: Only available on the Enterprise plan
Role: Only Owner and Admins can configure
Platform: Notta Web

Administrator setup

  1. Click on your Profile Picture in the top right corner of the screen , select Settings from the dropdown menu.

  2. Click Preferences in the left sidebar. Toggling off the option of Functional permissions will prevent workspace members from creating folders.

Member experience

When administrators set functional permissions to ON, the create folder option is available to members.

Why do I see "Unknown error, please try again later" when I try to create a folder on the mobile app?
