Find answers to common questions and troubleshooting tips to help your Notta–Zapier automations run smoothly.
To use the integration between Notta and Zapier, you must subscribe to the Business Plan or higher on the Notta side.
While a paid subscription to Zapier is not mandatory, Zapier's Free Plan has certain limitations on the monthly number of tasks and available features. For details on plan options and pricing, please refer to the respective pricing pages of Notta and Zapier.
When using Notta as a trigger in Zapier, only one sample data record is provided during the testing phase — actual user data is not retrieved at this stage. Please use the sample data to complete your test.
Once you publish the Zap, the automation will begin running in the production environment using your real data.
Currently, the "Anyone in the workspace" option is available only to workspace owners.
If you are not the owner, please change the setting to "Myself". This will ensure that the automation runs correctly for data created by you personally.
AI Notes are generated after the transcript has been completed, as they rely on the transcript content.
If your trigger event is set to "New Transcript", the sync may occur before the AI Notes are available, resulting in empty or missing data.
To ensure that AI Notes are properly synced, we recommend setting the trigger event to "New AI Notes".
Please make sure that the sharing permissions for your Google Drive or Dropbox links are set to "Anyone with the link can access" or a similar option that allows Notta to retrieve the file.
If the shared link is private or restricted, Notta, as a third-party service, will not be able to access the file. For instructions on how to configure sharing permissions, please refer to the following guides:
Currently, Notta does not support importing Zoom cloud recordings directly via download URLs.
If you wish to transcribe a Zoom cloud recording, please first download the recording file to your local device (e.g., PC) and then upload it to Notta manually to start the transcription.
If you set the trigger event to "Public Notes", the automation will be executed each time public sharing is enabled in Notta.
If you want to re-run the automation, simply turn off public sharing once and then turn it back on — this will re-trigger the automation even for the same record.
Unfortunately, at this time, Notta only integrates with Zapier as an external automation tool.
If there are other automation services you'd like to use, please let the Notta team know — we'll consider them as potential improvements for future updates.
