About User Roles
On Notta Business and Notta Enterprise, there are three distinct user roles: owner, admin, and member, each serving different functions and responsibilities.

Owner: The workspace is limited to having only one owner who possesses complete privileges and can perform all operations within the workspace.

Admin: Admins serve as workspace administrators, akin to owners, with the ability to manage members and data. They can perform tasks such as inviting new members and deleting data. Multiple admins can be assigned within a workspace.

Members: Members are individuals invited to the workspace by owners or admins. While they lack the ability to create workspaces or manage members like owners and admins, they can actively participate in the workspace's activities and collaborate with other members.

Change user roles
*This operation is only available for owners and admins.
1. Click [User settings] → [Members] at the bottom of the left sidebar to move to the member management screen.
2. Click on the roles of the member you want to make an administrator and select [Admin] to complete the change. If you want to change an admin to a member, click on the arrow and select [Member].
Transfer workspace owner
*This operation is only available for owners.
1. Click [User settings] → [Members] at the bottom of the left sidebar to move to the member management screen.
2. Click on the user to whom you want to transfer ownership, and then click [Transfer Ownership].
3. Click the [Transfer] button and a 6-digit verification code will be sent to the owner's email address.
4. Enter the verification code and click [Confirm] to complete the transfer of ownership.
Note:
- Only the previous owner can transfer ownership to another member.
- After completing the transfer of ownership, the previous owner will become admin. The new owner can remove the previous owner.
- The owner can only delete the account after transferring rights.
