Change your billing cycle on Notta

Notta's paid plans offer two billing options: monthly and annual. This article explains how to change your billing cycle on Notta.

Change from monthly to annual billing

You can change from monthly to annual billing at any time as long as your subscription is active (not canceled). The fee for the unused period of your monthly plan will be applied as a credit towards the annual plan fee, so you only need to pay the difference to complete the upgrade.

  1. Log in to Notta Web from your computer and click your Profile imageSettings in the upper right corner of the screen.

  2. Click BillingSwitch to Annual Plan.

  3. After confirming the billing details, click Switch to complete the change to an annual payment.

Change from annual to monthly billing

Currently, you cannot change from annual to monthly billing immediately. If you wish to change from annual to monthly billing, you need to cancel your annual plan and then sign up for a monthly plan. Rest assured that your past data will not be lost even if you cancel your annual plan.

The best time to sign up for a new subscription is after your original annual plan expires and your workspace has switched to the Free Plan. This will help align the start date of your new monthly plan with the billing date.

If you sign up for a new subscription before your original annual plan expires, the start date and billing date of your new subscription may not match.

I've already canceled my subscription, and I can't find the button to change to annual billing.

If you have already canceled your subscription, the button to change to annual billing is not available. Please wait until your current plan expires, and then create a new subscription.

I haven't canceled my subscription, but I can't find the button to change to annual billing.
  1. Please check if the platform you are currently using matches the platform where you originally purchased your subscription. Subscriptions bought on Notta Web can only be managed on Notta Web. Subscriptions bought through the App Store or Google Play can only be managed on the Notta mobile app.
  2. Please check if your subscription was created before April 17, 2024. Due to the introduction of a new pricing structure on April 17, 2024, subscriptions created before this date no longer support changes. If you wish to switch from monthly to annual billing, you will need to cancel your current subscription, and then purchase a new subscription after the original subscription expires.
