When trying to log in to Notta using your Microsoft account or link your Outlook Calendar to Notta, you might see a message stating, "Need admin approval".
This means your organization restricts access to third-party services. To proceed with linking your Microsoft account, you'll need to get approval from your administrator.
<Administrators> Enable the consent workflow
- Administrators, go to https://entra.microsoft.com/.
- Click Entra ID > Applications > Enterprise applications > Admin consent settings.
- Under Admin consent requests, select Yes for Users can request admin consent to apps they are unable to consent to.
Note: It may take about 10 minutes for the settings to take effect after the administrator completes the operation.

<Users> Request approval from administrators
Once the administrator completes the setup, the "Approval required" screen will appear when the user tries to link their Microsoft account again. After entering the reason for access, click Request approval. This will send an email to the administrator.
<Administrators> Approve user requests
- Administrators will receive an email notification about a pending request to review. Click Review the request to open the Admin consent requests page under "Enterprise applications" in the Microsoft Entra admin center.
- Notta will appear in the "My pending" list. Click Notta to view details, then click Review permissions and consent in the upper left of the details page and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the approval.
- Once the administrator approves the user's request, the user will be able to use the Microsoft account integration in Notta.
