You can customize the keyboard shortcut for sending messages in Notta Brain. For users who use IME (Input Method Editor) for Japanese or Chinese, we recommend using "Ctrl + Enter" to avoid accidental sends.
Available send shortcut modes
Notta Brain offers two sending methods:
Mode 1: Enter to send
- Enter key → Send message
- Shift + Enter → New line
- Suitable for languages that don't use IME, such as English
Mode 2: Ctrl + Enter to send
- Enter key → New line
- Ctrl + Enter (Mac: ⌘ + Enter) → Send message
- Suitable for languages using IME input, such as Japanese and Chinese
- Prevents accidental sends by separating IME confirmation from message sending
Recommendation for Japanese Input
When typing in Japanese, the Enter key is used to confirm conversion candidates. In "Enter to send" mode, messages may be accidentally sent when confirming conversions. We strongly recommend "Ctrl + Enter to send" mode when typing in Japanese.
