Notes:

- Subscribing to a paid Notta plan alone does not provide additional Notta Brain credits. To increase your credit allowance, a separate Notta Brain plan subscription is required.
- For more details on managing your subscription, please refer to our help documentation: Notta Brain Subscription & Payment
AI Credit rollover rules
With Notta Brain paid plans, any unused "Plan-based AI Credits" from the current month can be rolled over to the next month.
- Eligible Plans: Credit rollover is exclusively available for Notta Brain paid subscriptions. Unused credits on the Free plan do not roll over and will automatically expire on your monthly reset date.
- Rollover Cap: The maximum number of credits you can accumulate via rollover cannot exceed the standard monthly credit allowance of your current workspace plan.
-
Consumption Order: AI credits are automatically deducted in the following order (prioritizing credits with shorter validity or earlier distribution):
- Event/Promo Bonus Credits
- Rollover Credits from the previous month
- Plan-based AI Credits for the current month
- Additional Purchased Credits
Credits exempt from rollover
The following types of AI credits are not eligible for monthly rollover:
- Additional Purchased Credits: Credits purchased separately as add-ons. These are valid only within their own specified expiration period and are independent of your subscription's monthly reset date.
- Event/Promo Bonus Credits: Credits awarded through campaigns, referrals, or events. These are generally valid only during the month they are issued and automatically expire at the end of that month.
Impact of subscription changes on rollover
- Canceling your subscription: Upon the termination of your paid subscription, all remaining Plan-based Credits and accumulated Rollover Credits will immediately expire. If you resubscribe in the future, your previous credit balance cannot be restored or carried over.
- Upgrading plans or adding seats: Your rollover cap will automatically increase to match the monthly credit allowance of your new, upgraded plan details.
- Downgrading plans or reducing seats: Your rollover cap will decrease to match the monthly allowance of your new plan. Any rolled-over credits that exceed this new cap will be discarded at the time of the plan change.
How to check usage and reset dates?
Plan-based AI credits are reset on a monthly basis. You can monitor your current usage and view your next reset date at any time.
- Log in to your Notta Brain workspace via a desktop browser (app.notta.ai/brain). Click your profile icon in the top right corner and select Settings from the dropdown menu.
- In the settings sidebar on the left, click on Notta Brain Usage.
- Here, you can review your workspace-wide AI credit consumption, upcoming reset dates, and other billing metrics.
The Notta mobile app does not feature a dedicated standalone dashboard for Notta Brain. Currently, Brain usage details are integrated within the standard transcription limits section.
- Open the app, tap Mine in the bottom right corner, and your overall plan status will be displayed at the top of the screen.
- Usage items other than transcription time are collapsed by default. Tap Check feature usage to expand the view and see all metrics.
- Locate AI Credits at the bottom of the list to view your current monthly consumption against your workspace limit. You can also tap the "?" icon next to "AI Credits" to view your next scheduled reset date.
FAQs
AI credits refresh automatically on your monthly subscription reset date. Once the reset date is reached, your credit balance will replenish up to your plan's allowance, making the features fully available again.
If you need to increase your monthly credit allowance immediately, please contact the appropriate channel based on your payment method:
- Online Subscriptions: Please contact our Support Team.
- Invoiced / Enterprise Plans: Please contact your dedicated Sales Representative.
This typically occurs if you recently downgraded your subscription plan or reduced the number of seats in your workspace. When a plan change happens, your maximum rollover cap is lowered to align with the new plan's monthly allocation.
Consequently, any accumulated rollover credits that exceed this newly reduced cap are discarded and removed from your balance.
Rollover eligibility depends entirely on the type of AI credits you hold.
Only standard "Plan-based AI Credits" are eligible for rollover. Additional Purchased Credits and Event/Promo Bonus Credits are managed under separate expiration terms and are excluded from the standard monthly rollover system.
