Prerequisites for using this feature
Plan: Available on all plans
Role: Available to all roles
Platform: Notta Web
Notes:

What is a Notta Brain Session?
To begin using Notta Brain, you first need to create a Task. A Session represents the continuous dialogue history between you and the AI within that specific task. Each session captures the context of your interaction, allowing you to collaborate effectively with AI.
💻 Web Instructions
1. Open the Share dialog
- Open a session (task) in Notta Brain at app.notta.ai.
- Click Share in the top-right corner of the session page.
Tip: You can also find the Share button when Notta Brain detects you have copied, liked, or downloaded a result — a prompt appears at the bottom of the screen.
2. Choose your sharing method
You can collaborate using one of the two methods below:
Option A: Share with workspace members
- In the Share dialog, type a member's name or email address in the search box.
- Select the member from the results — they are granted View access by default.
- The invited member receives an email with a direct link to the session.
Option B: Share via public link
In the Share dialog, toggle Public access to On.
Click Copy Link to save it to your clipboard.
- Quick Share: You can also instantly distribute the link via Slack, QR Code, X (Twitter), Facebook, LinkedIn, LINE, or WhatsApp.
- Slack Sharing: Select a workspace and channel, then confirm. The session title and link are sent to the channel.
- Note: If not authorized, complete the Slack OAuth flow to select a workspace and channel.
3. Advanced link settings (Public access only)
- Add password — Protect your link with a password. Viewers must enter the correct password to access the session.
- Link expiration — Set the link to expire in 7 / 14 / 30 / 90 / 180 days, or choose never (default).
- Search engine indexing — When enabled, this page may appear in search engine results.
Note: Once you turn off Public access or delete the session, the shared link becomes invalid. Viewers will see: "This shared session is no longer available".
4. For Viewers — How to view a shared session
- Open the shared link in a browser.
- Browse the full conversation history, AI thinking steps, and final outputs (PPT / images) in read-only mode.
- 💡 Tip: Expand or collapse the AI's thinking process to see tool calls (Search, Python, etc.).
- ⚠️ Copying individual messages, downloading outputs, giving feedback (thumbs up/down), and viewing recommended questions are not available in shared view.
- Click Try Notta Brain at the bottom to start your own session based on this content.
- If you are already logged in: You are taken directly to a new Notta Brain session with the shared session referenced.
- If you are not logged in: You are directed to sign up or log in, then taken directly to Notta Brain — bypassing the standard onboarding flow.
