Notes:
- Each question asked via the LINE Bot consumes 100 AI Credits, the same as a Chat Q&A on the web.
- The Bot answers based on your own Notta Brain knowledge base (meeting transcripts and uploaded files). It cannot access other users' data.
- One Notta account can only be linked to one LINE account, and vice versa.
- The Bot replies with text only and does not remember previous messages (each question is handled independently).
π― What is the Notta Brain LINE Bot?
Connect your LINE account to chat with Notta-kun, Notta Brain's official LINE Bot. Ask questions in your LINE private chat and get AI answers based on your meeting recordings and uploaded files β without leaving LINE.
The Bot automatically replies in the same language as your message (defaults to Japanese if it can't detect the language).

Connect LINE (from Notta Brain web)
- Go to Notta Brain (app.notta.ai/brain).
- Navigate to Settings > Integrations & Apps.
- In the left sidebar, under "Use Brain in your Apps", click Apps.
- Select the Workspace you want to use with LINE from the "Select Workspace" dropdown.
- Find the LINE card and click Connect.
- π‘ The card description reads: "Receive Notta Brain results and notifications directly in your LINE chat with Notta-kun."
- Scan the displayed QR code or open the Add friend link to add Notta-kun on LINE.
- After adding Notta-kun as a friend, the web page automatically updates to the connected state and shows your LINE account name.
- π‘ Tip: If the status doesn't update, click "Already added? Tap to refresh status".
Connect LINE (from the Bot)
- Search for Notta-kun in LINE or scan the QR code, then add it as a friend.
- Notta-kun sends a welcome message with a Connect now button.
- Tap the button and complete authorization (or sign up if you're a new user).
- Notta-kun sends a confirmation message β you're ready to start asking questions.
β οΈ The connection link contains a one-time token valid for 30 minutes. If it expires, send any message to Notta-kun to receive a new welcome message with a fresh link.
Disconnect LINE
- Go to Notta Brain (app.notta.ai/brain).
- Navigate to Settings > Integrations & Apps.
- Find the LINE card (showing your connected account) and click Disconnect.
- A confirmation dialog appears. Confirm to disconnect.
β οΈ After disconnecting, sending a message to Notta-kun will only return a prompt to reconnect β no AI answer is generated.
π€ Use the Bot in LINE
Ask a Question
- Open your private chat with Notta-kun in LINE.
- Type your question and send it.
- Example: "What decisions were made in last week's product meeting?"
- Notta-kun shows a loading animation while it thinks (up to 60 seconds).
- The answer is sent as a text message. 100 AI Credits are deducted on a successful reply.
Long Answers
- Replies up to 5,000 characters are sent as a single message.
- Replies of 5,001β25,000 characters are split into up to 5 sequential messages.
- Replies over 25,000 characters send the first 4 messages plus a final message with a "View full answer" link to Notta Brain web.
What the Bot Cannot Do
- Access other users' content (only your own knowledge base).
- Remember previous questions (no multi-turn conversation in this version).
- Send rich text or card formats (text replies only).

- One account, one connection: Each Notta account links to one LINE account, and each LINE account links to one Notta account.

If something goes wrong, Notta-kun (or Notta Brain) may return one of the following messages.
- "You don't have enough AI credits to continue. Add credits or activate your plan." β Your personal AI credits are used up. Add credits or activate your plan.
- "This workspace doesn't have enough AI credits to complete this task. Ask the workspace owner or admin to add credits." β The workspace's shared credit pool is exhausted. Contact your owner or admin.
- "You don't have enough personal AI credits to complete this task. Ask the workspace owner or admin to increase your limit." β Your individual limit is reached. Ask your owner or admin to raise it.
- "AI credits haven't been assigned to your account yet. Ask the workspace owner or admin to set your limit." β No credits allocated to you yet. Ask your owner or admin to set a limit.
- "You don't have enough remaining uses for this feature." β The allowance for this feature is used up. Wait for reset or upgrade your plan.
- "You've reached the session limit. Close an existing session or try again later." β Too many sessions open. Close one and retry.
- "You've reached today's session limit. Please try again tomorrow." β Daily session limit reached. Try again tomorrow.
- "Requests are temporarily high. Please try again in a few minutes." β High demand right now. Wait a few minutes and retry.
- "This task is taking longer than expected. Please try again later." β The task is still processing. Wait and retry.
- "Something went wrong while processing your request. Please try again later." β An unexpected error occurred. Retry later; contact support if it persists.
- "Your prompt is too long. Shorten it and try again." β Your input exceeds the maximum length. Shorten it.
- "This PDF can't be processed. Please upload another file." β The PDF couldn't be read. Upload a different file.
- "Network connection failed. Check your connection and try again." β Check your internet connection and retry.
- "This request couldn't be completed for security reasons. Please try again later." β Blocked by a security filter. Retry later; contact support if it persists.
